Samuel Eto'o Presents His Multimillion Fleet of Cars

Samuel Eto’o has made good use of his bumper salary by amassing a fleet of cars worth £4million.

The pick of the Chelsea FC striker’s fleet is the £1.55m Bugatti Veyron which was specially delivered along with three other vehicles to the London club’s training ground after his move from Russian club Anzhi this summer.

In addition to Veyron, Eto’o has spent big on a £1.25m Aston Martin One-77, according to The Sun. The Cameroon forward, 31, also snapped up a luxury Maybach Xenatec for a whopping £750,000 and an Aston Martin V12 Zagato for £450,000.

Eto’o has always been a fan of cars and even reportedly offered former Cameroon striker Roger Milla a Porsche as a Christmas present in 2010.

“I like to have a few cars because it gives me choice and it doesn’t hurt anybody. To give happiness, the first thing is to be happy oneself, and I am,” Samuel Eto’o once said.

The Spaniard has found himself under fire from sections of the Chelsea faithful since his appointment in November due to his prior association with Liverpool.
However, the 52-year-old says he has also received backing from many supporters which will not have been noticed.
He told Spanish newspaper Marca: "I have to say the fans are very good to me in the street.
"Many Blues fans stop me and tell me to keep on working and not to listen to the critics.
"I have a lot more day-to-day support than is shown."
Benitez added of the criticism he has received: "It's not so much. I don't give it any importance. We know there are four or five banners and they repeat them a lot.

Nwosu, who spoke to our correspondent on the telephone during the week, said he was disturbed by Yobo’s media attack on coach Stephen Keshi for not informing about his exclusion from the  squad for the March 23  World Cup qualifying game against Kenya in Calabar.
And Keshi explained that  he left out the versatile  Turkey-based defender from the squad because he decided to stick with Godfrey Oboabona and Kenneth Omeruo, who distinguished  themselves in the central defence during the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations won by Nigeria  in South  Africa.

African Nations Cup star, Emmanuel Emenike has lashed out at Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi for using and dumping him after his long-term hamstring injury.
Emenike faults NFF, Keshi for abandoning him Emenike top scored for champions Nigeria at the Nations Cup in South Africa, but suffered a hamstring injury against Mali which has already sidelined him for about four weeks now.
He was therefore left out of next weekend’s World Cup qualifier at home against Kenya.
He told MTNFootball.com he is disgusted not to have received even a phone call from Keshi or any official from the Nigeria Football Federation since he rejoined his Russian club Spartak Moscow.
“I must be honest with you, I have not been treated well by the coach and the NFF because they ignored me so soon, so fast,” he lamented.
“Nobody from the NFF and the coach had called to ask me about my injury. I am bitter about this. It is unfair and I can tell you that is why some players don’t come to give their best for the national team.”
“When a player gets injured on national duty, I think the country’s football authority and coach ought to keep in touch to let him know he is loved and cared for.

Young’s eye for silver

SILVER ASHLEY YOUNG is desperate to get his hands on a first major trophy with Manchester United.

The winger lifted the Community Shield in his first competitive game for United in 2011.
But he is yet to claim any major silverware for the Red Devils.
With United 12 points clear in the Premier League and still in the FA Cup, Young is hopeful that could be about to change.
He said: “I joined the club to win trophies.
“When you move to a club like United, you look at the trophy cabinet and what they have won.
“In the dressing room everybody is a born winner. The manager gives you that belief to win every game and win trophies.”
England ace Young has been hampered by knee problems in his second season at Old Trafford.
And he is keen to cement himself in the side now he is fully fit.
He said: “I have had a fair few injuries this season. That has been disappointing for me.
“I have got myself back fit now. Hopefully I can kick on now until the end of the season.”
